以二維頻譜元素法模擬地震波經岩漿庫、地函貫入體和隱沒帶異質構造的波傳現象和合成波形:以北台灣為例

本研究以全波形數值模擬方法探討台灣北部大屯火山群底下是否存在熔融岩漿庫的爭議性議題,並嘗試於台灣北部隱沒的菲律賓海板塊內部加入小尺度的異質物以及板塊上方地函楔置入岩漿貫入體模擬2019年03月12日地震事件於密集台灣陣列所觀察到次達P波以及P波頻散與持續高頻尾波的特徵。前半部透過軸對稱譜元素法(axisymmetric spectral-element method, AxiSEM)模擬地震波通過數種不同直徑大小,速度異常組合的圓形岩漿庫模型的三維全波場,計算最高頻率可達1 Hz。接著利用結合迭代波形互相關和疊加(Iterative cross-correlation and stackin

g)以及多頻道互相關(multi-channel cross-correlation, MCCC)的AIMBAT方法測量各測站合成的P波和S波相對到時異常的變化。結果顯示所有模型預測P波和S波延遲到時皆以岩漿庫上方測站為中心呈對稱峰狀分布,而實際觀測資料的延遲時間則顯示在山腳斷層西側明顯高於東側呈現階梯狀,在大屯火山群區域並未觀察到對稱峰狀分布,另外根據北台灣三維速度模型於大屯火山群底下8-15公里存在一牛奶罐形狀的低速體所模擬出來的P和S波波形,其量測的到時異常分佈在跨過山腳斷層的測站亦呈現階梯狀上升的趨勢,暗示低速體的存在,但前人研究認為該低速體代表達20%部分熔融的岩漿庫,造成S波速度下

降比例比P波大近兩倍的推論,則會使得預測的S波到時延遲比P波大至少兩倍以上,與實際觀測結果不符。因此該低速體是否反映的是熔融岩漿庫還有待商榷。後半部則使用區域尺度直角坐標的二維譜元素法SPECFEM2D進行高頻地震波的模擬,合成頻率可高達12 Hz。考慮隱沒板塊內部小尺度異質物可造就類似導波波形頻散特徵,因此以von Karman函數產生各種大小尺度與扁圓形狀的隨機異質物,當異質物尺度偏小且長寬比接近1時能在初達P波後觀察到次達的PG2導波,兩者到時時間差隨震央距增加而增加,與實際密集台灣陳列測站的所觀察到的到時差隨震央距增加而遞減的分布模式不同,表示觀測資料的次達波非記錄到菲律賓海板塊內小尺

度異質物產生的次達波。此外,在模型地函楔區域放置岩漿貫入體能產生次達的P波(即前人研究指出的P2波相)到時隨震央距增加而減少,符合前人分析密集台灣陣列所記錄的波形資料發現P2波的走時模式相同,透過模擬數種岩漿貫入體大小在半徑1公里情況下最符合實際資料初達P1和次達P2的到時差,但均勻低速岩漿貫入體無法模擬出P2振幅較大與頻散特徵,未來需嘗試其他構造以找出真正造成觀察P波特徵的構造成因。
