異重流為兩種密度不同的流體發生水平方向的交互作用,比重較大的流體潛沉於較輕流體之下,運行時流體因密度差異連帶阻力現象導致頭端的產生,同時重流體頭端速度與底床剪切效應形成鼻端形貌,頭端後方流體與周圍作用形成捲增現象,亦稱為Kelvin-Helmholtz不穩定渦流,經常好發於自然界中,例如火山碎屑流、雪崩、大氣、濁流等。近期因溫室效應加劇,氣候變遷的影響,導致經常發生短時間內暴雨強降,而台灣地勢山脈陡峭,大量泥沙受沖刷擾動後被挾帶進入水庫,致使水庫內整體濁度提升且存水量造成威脅,考量台灣傳統清淤工程效率不彰,無法負荷強降雨後嚴重淤積情形,近年來政府單位已建造排砂隧道,將含高濃度泥沙渾水排出,但

礙於此機制成效有限,無法將淤沙一次性完全排出,仍須倚靠清淤工程將下游殘留的擴散狀沉積泥沙清除。有鑑於此,本研究建構一發想冀望提升清淤作業之效率,計畫將水工障礙物設置於排砂隧道下方,強制未排除的渾水衝擊連續障礙物後減速,同時控制其沉積範圍達成提升浚渫的效能。因此,釐清異重流與浸沒障礙物其交互作用過程將有效地評估單一或週期型浸沒障礙物設置的適當性。本研究使用高精度數值模擬觀察其演化及結構物週遭的局部流場特徵。數學模式將建立於納維爾-史托克斯方程組架構下進行演算。為了降低計算之成本,模式中引入大渦流紊流模式於其中。分析的內容包括定性觀察(密度等值面分布)及定量分析(運移軌跡、能量收支變化以及障礙物)

,透過分析結果著重探討於不同週期性障礙物浸沒比值(D/H)及障礙物間距比值(λ/D)與異重流演化過程之影響。最後,將評估較有效的結構物排列方式以利清淤之效。
